ആര്ത്തലച്ചു,
ഓടുക്കമോന്നുമാവാതെ,
കരയിലുമ്മവെച്ചമര്ന്നപോല്
നിര തെറ്റി വീണൊരു മഴനീര്
മരുഭൂമിയില്
വെന്തെരിഞ്ഞ പോല്
സാഗരത്തിന്നാഴങ്ങള്ക്ക് മീതെ
മറ്റൊരു തുള്ളിയായ് ലയിച്ച പോല്
കുളിര് കോറി തണുത്തു വിറച്ച പോല് വന്നെന്നെ പിശറന് കാറ്റ്
തഴുകിയ പോല്
ഒരു നാദം
മറ്റൊന്നിനു പിടകിലായമര്ന്ന പോല്
പിന്നെ ഓരോ ഒഴുക്കും നിലച്ച പോല്
ഒരു ശ്വാസം പ്രാണനായെടുത്ത പോല്
എത്ര നിര്ലോപമായ്
എല്ലാം മറഞ്ഞു പോകും.
